Route 40 runs along side the Andes from Puna until reaching he Glaciers of the South. It is mythical for many reasons. For the solitary stretches it crosses. For the peaks of the Andes that guard the route like centennials. Also beacuse its plan corresponds with the ancient travel routes of the firs inhhabitants of South America.
These wise ancestors were knowledgeable about all of the different mocroclimates where a traveler could find fresh water supplies, the resource which enabled the development of the cities and towns fo today.
Travelling the legendery Route 40 is to discover the "Other Patagonia", with its long rubble roads crossing the steppe, visiting Caves with 10.000 years old paintings of human hands and animals, in the beautiful Canyon of the Pinturas River.

Breakfast. Full day excursion to Peninsula Valdes (marine wolves and elephants) from June to late November is the period for whales watching. He whales, know as Ballena Franca Austral come to reproduce to this coast. Visit to Punta Piramides and Caleta Valdes. Night at hotel
Breakfast. Millons of penguins wait at Punta Tombo, 125 km south from Trelew. After visiting the Reserve, continue our way by Route 3 to Comodoro Rivadavia, the biggest city in Patagonia. Night at hotel. Dinner included (Tot 610 kms)
Departure from Comodoro Rivadavia to visit the pretified Wood Ormachea (box lunch included). Continue through the famous Route 40 until arriving the villaje of Perito Moreno. Lodge at Los Antiguos, little villaje in the border with Chile. Dinner and overnight (Tot 520 km)
From Los Antiguos we will go through Bajo Caracoles (always Route 40) and Pinturas river in orden to see the amazing Painted caves. Hand paintings are perfectly conserved as they were painted by the ancients Patagonian citizens. Lunch together with the rangers of National park. Continue to Posadas Lake. Overnight (Tot 360 kms)
Departure from Posadas Lake to Argentino Lake the longest way of the tour, because it crosses vertically then Patagonia. Box lunch. Arrival to Calafate and night at hotel (tot 640 kms)
Breakfast. Departure for all glaciers navigation, we will see Upsala (The biggest glacier of National Park Los Glaciares), Onelli and Agassi. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
Breakfast. Today we will visit Perito Moreno Glacier (80 mts high and 27 kms). We can walk through the balconies that are in front of it and surrounded by the Wood.
After breakfast, departure to Chilean border (Cancha carrera, 360 kms from Calafate). Migrations and continue to Puerto Natales (37 kms from the border). Arrival late at noon. Night at hotel.
Breakfast. Excursion to Torres del Paine National Park (154 kms from Puerto Natales). It starts with the visit to Milodon Caves, where remains fossils of a prehistoric mammal. Box lunch during excursion. After two hours arrival to National Park, Glaciers, paths, free animals, Andes mountains make Torres del Paine an unforgettable spot on earth
Breakfast. Sailing to see Ultima Esperanza fjord. It’s located in Bernardo O’Higgins. This National Park cna be reached only by sea. Balmaceda mountain (2035 mts) and Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers could be appreciated. Return to Puerto Natales. Night at hotel
Breakfast. Transfer by bus to Calafate (Argentina), 360 kms and then flight to Buenos Aires. Arrival and transfer to hotel. Night at hotel.
